BUFFALO, NY – David P. Flynn, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, one of the region’s best known law firms, recently spoke to the Air & Waste Management Association’s Niagara Frontier and Rochester/Finger Lakes Chapters. His presentation, titled “Renewable Energy & Grid Access: How to Get Green Energy to Market” provided an overview and how to overcome hurdles with regards to renewable energy, energy infrastructure and brownfields.
The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a nonprofit professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education and outreach to more than 8,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries.
At Phillips Lytle, Mr. Flynn concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental law and energy and is the practice team leader for the firm’s nanotechnology practice team. A member of the American, New York State and Erie County Bar Associations, he earned his J.D., cum laude, from University at Buffalo Law School and his B.A. from University at Buffalo. Mr. Flynn sits on the executive committee for the National Brownfield Association, New York Chapter, serves as vice chairman of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of The Council of The Burchfield-Penney Art Center.
