Stephen W. Bell has covered some of New York's most important stories. Before joining EMA, he was most recently Editorial Page Editor of The Buffalo News. Steve's analyses and opinions helped affect public policy and influenced state, local and national politics. His insights have particular value, based as they are on years as a reporter, senior editor and news media opinion leader. During 20 years at The News—upstate's largest newspaper—Steve also served as Managing Editor, City Editor and Business Editor. Prior to joining The News, Steve was a reporter for The Associated Press in both Albany and Buffalo. His career began at the Stamford (CT) Advocate.
