1st Quarter Success Showcase:
Cohen & Lombardo, P.C.
The Amherst Chamber of Commerce and the Business Resource Council is please to present the Quarterly Member Success Showcase to Cohen & Lombardo, P.C., a chamber member since 2009.
In 2013, Cohen & Lombardo celebrated 80 years in business as a full-service law firm dedicated to the welfare and service of corporate and individual clients. One of the great sources of pride in a long and distinguished legal history is that they serve the children and grandchildren of original clients. Cohen & Lombardo's firm size offers many benefits associated with a large firm, but in a more personalized setting. Several lawyers speak foreign languages such as Polish, Italian and Spanish. Their blend of experiences and young attorneys will enable them to serve the needs of clients for decades to come, as well as to continue a commitment to community service.
Since 1933, Cohen & Lombardo has been a law firm that embodies its mission: Integrity. Dedication. Respect. Experience. A long standing general law practice steeped in history, Cohen & Lombardo has, as its main law office, a restored E.B. Green home on Elmwood Avenue. Joseph Cohen, the founder, graduated from University at Buffalo Law school and was admitted into the bar in 1933. He was joined by Ernest A. Lombardo in 1951. Shortly after, Richard N. Blewett joined the practice and remains a valuable member of the firm today. Cohen & Lombardo has been an active member of the legal community with 4 of their attorneys serving as President of the Erie County Bar Association, along with many awards. Many accomplished attorneys have serviced the community, including the first female partner, Bella Maisel Rock, who graduated from law school at age 19 but had to wait until she was 21 to take the bar exam. Maryann Saccomando Freedman was the first woman President to the New York State Bar Association. But as notable as all the attorneys of Cohen & Lombardo are, and as rich as their peer and community awards indicated, the real strength of the firm is its commitment to their clients, the people who are serviced with a passion for the law, clients who are treated with respect and professionalism. Integrity, dedication, respect and experience. Commitment to the values of the firm and client's needs are the principals upon which the firm Cohen & Lombardo was founded and continues to this day.
Please join us in congratulating Cohen & Lombardo P.C. as the 1st Quarter 2014 Member Success Showcase honoree.
