WELLNESS - WHAT'S THE REWARD?



Wegmans believes, and we agree, that when you take care of your employees, they take care of your customers. When employers help their workforce get and stay healthy, they are really helping keep their bottom line healthy, too! The Amherst Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Wegmans as a provider of innovative wellness programs. Over the past few years, Wegmans has helped their employees "know their numbers" and designed a wellness program that has been producing great results. This program is now available to meet the needs of your company and your employees.


Employers recognize that a healthy workforce increases productivity and decreases absenteeism. Workforce wellness programs provide employees with the tools they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a better quality of life. Further, with a national trend towards health insurance policies with high deductibles, wellness programs are an increasingly important component for stabilizing healthcare costs. 


Wegmans provides on-site services including Immunization Clinics, Health Screenings, Nutrition Workshops, and Health Coaching.
