Your Circle of Influence
Throughout this newsletter and in most of our communications the past few years we have talked about how the Amherst Chamber of Commerce is the hub for your Circle of Influence. We identified the phrase, Circle of Influence, as a concept that has a commonality with our culture at the Chamber. It actually was coined by Stephen Covey in his bestselling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People.
As a Chamber, we strive to provide the tools that result in all of our members being highly successful; inside our Circle of Influence is a large and diverse number of products and services that assist our members in achieving and sustaining that goal.
Stephen Covey describes A Circle of Influence as something that encompasses the concerns that we can do something about. Proactive people focus on issues within their circle of influence, and the nature of their energy in doing this is positive, enlarging and magnifying. The Amherst Chamber of Commerce encourages all businesses to join our Circle of Influence and benefit from the resources we provide. Your challenge becomes our issue and together we can influence the outcomes.
To realize a tangible return on your investment in the Chamber, take time to read our newsletters, come to our complimentary networking events, sign up for a Tools For Prosperity workshop, talk to us about your health insurance or employee benefits, visit our Facebook page, highlight your company's products and/or services on our Member to Member page on our website, join Toastmasters, join a Professional Networking group or a council.
Get engaged and we promise that your time will be well spent.
