2013 Small Business Award Honorees
The Amherst Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its 2013 Small Business Award Honorees. Seven small businesses and individuals dedicated to small business will be recognized for their commitment to excellence and value in the products or services that they provide.
The following awards will be presented at the 2013 Small Business Awards Luncheon and Showcase:
Small Business Organization of the Year presented to the Williamsville Business Organization for its extraordinary contributions to the revitalization and resurgence of a walkable community on Main Street.
Small Business Advocate of the Year honoring Tom Ulbrich, executive director of CEL for the University at Buffalo's School of Management, for his tireless promotion of small businesses throughout the Western New York region.
President's Award presented to Bean Media by Colleen DiPirro, president & CEO of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce.
Community Stewardship Award given to Peter and Suzie Solender for their community leadership, which has led to an increased quality of life in Amherst as a result of their efforts.
Family Owned Business Award presented to the Moses Insurance Group for their commitment to excellence in their field and ability to continue their legacy for many years to come.
Trailblazer Award recognizing Ambur Point of Sale in recognition of their iPad based solution for the foodservice industry.
Sponsor's Award presented to MBMS Inc. by First Niagara, title sponsor of the 2013 Small Business Awards Luncheon.
The 2013 Small Business Awards Luncheon and Showcase will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 11am - 2pm at Samuel's Grande Manor, located at 8750 Main Street in Clarence. Individual tickets are available for purchase for $40 and corporate tables of ten are available for $425.
