Win a Bills Suite to a 2010 Home Game

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau and Tops Friendly Markets, to sponsor Back to Football Friday.  This event, which will be annual and expanded in the future, is designed to get the entire community behind the opening of the NFL and Buffalo Bills season. 

A recent email from us explained how our members could dress in the Bills colors of red, white and blue and/or show your Bills pride by decorating your office to show your support of our Buffalo Bills.  Photos of your office and employees can be posted at www.buffalobills.com/backtofootballfriday for a chance to win a Bills suite for a home game or a catered office party with the Buffalo Jills and Billy Buffalo, courtesy of Tops Friendly Markets.  To upload your company photo, view other photos and vote for your favorite go the Buffalo Bills website. Don't forget to vote before September 20^th!

Planning for next year's event will begin early in 2011 and we are expecting to expand the initiative. Back to Football Friday is another example of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce working with community partners to offer the business community ownership in our regional assets.

On a related note, the Amherst Chamber is proud to recognize long time friend and Chamber member Booker Edgerson who will be recognized by the Bills and enshrined on the Wall of Fame at Ralph Wilson Stadium in October.  We are working with multiple organizations on a dinner in honor of Booker, which will be held September 26^th at Ilio DiPaolo's restaurant.  Tickets are only $35 and all proceeds will be donated to Buffalo Prep Inner City Youth.  Many Buffalo Bills greats - past and present - will be in attendance.  To purchase a ticket, go to our website www.amherst.org or call 716.632.6905.
