GET OUT AND VOTE!

Every day of Every Week of Every Year, someone complains to me about the cost of doing business in our region.  Tomorrow you can have a part in changing the leadership that is at the core of your complaints.  Business needs to flex its collective political muscle and get out and vote for representatives that recognize your challenges and are willing to lead change. 

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce does not have a Political Action Committee so we are precluded from endorsing candidates.  We do, however, support good public policy.  Before you got out to vote tomorrow think about your expectations from your legislators.  Don't just vote for the familiar name or 'pretty' face.  Vote for the individuals who have  a commitment to representing the taxpayer - not the party boss.  Let's work together - the public and private sector - to rebuild Western New York and change the dysfunction in Albany.
