Chamber announces new members to Board of Directors

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of eight new members to its Board of Directors. The following individuals have been identified by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors to serve a three year term beginning January 2008:

 

 

Betsey Bonvissuto is Director of Marketing for Boulevard Mall. She has enjoyed 15 years with the Mall's parent company, Forest City Enterprises. She began her career as Director of Marketing for Summit Park Mall in Wheatfield.  She is responsible for the marketing and advertising efforts for the shopping center and has opened several of the company's new malls across the country.  She has a BA Degree in Communications from Buffalo State College.

 

Tim Boyle is Director of Real Estate Development for NOCO Energy Corp., a position he has held since 2003. Prior to that, he was a NYS Real Estate Broker with Hunt Real Estate Corp. in Williamsville for ten years and was Sales Manager for Red Door Ski Shop in Williamsville from 1988 to 1992. He has a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Erie Community College.

 

Paul Collins is VP with M&T Bank. He has worked at M&T for 17 years, with the last seven years as Commercial Manager at the Sheridan Evans Office. For the past six years, Paul has served as the Chairman of Hospice & Palliative Care Group, Inc. and President of Niagara Hospice, Inc. He is active on the golf committee for the Kids Escaping Drugs golf tournament and is an active coach in the Orchard Park baseball & basketball leagues.

 

 

Kathi Crowley is Director of Marketing of the Snyder Corp. She oversees the marketing and public relations for many of Paul Snyder's businesses and interests including The Hyatt, E.B. Green's, Beaver Hollow Conference Center, Buffalo Conference Center, We Care Transportation and Airportparking.com. Prior to the Snyder Corp., Kathi worked at the Alzheimer's Association, The McGuire Group and the Hamister Group. She graduated from Niagara College of Applied Arts and Sciences with a Degree in Gerontology.

 

Rick Dean is President of R.W. Dean & Associates, which he started in 2003. He started his career in the late 1970s as a sales representative with Burroughs Corporation (now UNISYS). In the 1980s he joined Espon America as District Manager for New England. Since 1989, Rick has held executive level sales management positions at International Imaging Materials Inc., Atto Technology and Manzella Productions. He has a BA degree in Political Science and Psychology from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

 

Steve Galloway is President and CEO of the Kainos Partners, LLC, a Dunkin Donuts franchise. Steve has more than 30 years experience in the retail food service management and development business, as well as the not-for-profit sector. Prior to Kainos Partners, he was president and COO of Frontier Management Services' retail development and management division in Rochester. He has a BS degree from the University of Southern Louisiana, a Masters degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University.

 

Christopher Knospe has been a Principal with Capitol Partners, Inc. since 2005 and brings with him a decade of experience as a congressional staff member.  He started his career in the office of NY Representative Jack Quinn and later worked for former House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman, Bud Shuster.  Most recently, Chris served for five years as District Director to NY Representative and Chairman of the NRC, Tom Reynolds. He was recently named to the Transition Team of Erie County Executive-Elect Chris Collins. Chris is a graduate of Fredonia State College.

 

John Leonardi is Executive VP of the Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS and is responsible for an annual budget of more than .5 million, supervises a staff of 12 employees and, oversees a membership 3,000 plus. He has increased members awareness and participation in the association by 20% through new programs and has developed a proactive legislative program while expanding local lobbying efforts in WNY. Prior to the BNAR, he was general sales manager at Fidelity National Information Solutions in California. John has a BS degree from Niagara University.
