Amherst Chamber seeks Submissions for New 2008 Member Workshop Seminars

Would you like to be one of eight featured presenters for a new series of educational workshops being offered by the Amherst Chamber???

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce, in response to many requests from members for the Chamber to host Member workshops or seminars, is seeking submissions for a series of Chamber Member Workshops for 2008.

These Eight workshops will be educational in nature and are a way for Chamber Members to share their expertise in a particular field or industry with other Chamber Members.

We are limiting the number accepted submissions to 24. It will be first come, first serve.

The proposed workshops will then be put the entire Chamber Membership for an e-mail vote. The top Eight seminars with the most votes will then be scheduled for 2008.

Each seminar will be held at the Suburban Solutions Center. The schedule of workshops will be published in the January/February newsletter and will also be available on the Chamber's website, www.amherst.org.

Submissions are due to the Chamber by Friday, Dec. 7. Submissions should include: contact information for the presenter and the company as well as a brief synopsis of 50 words of less on the proposed Workshop.
