BlueCross BlueShield to Present Health Management Seminar

Building a Collaborative Health Management Strategy

Would you like a simple way to have a more productive and profitable workplace?  If so, you will want to attend the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Western New York's upcoming seminar that is part of their "Healthy Changes Everything" campaign.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, BlueCross & Blue Shield will be presenting the informative seminar "Building a Collaborative Health Management Strategy" at the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, 350 Essjay Rd., Suite 200 in Williamsville.  The program will run from 5pm - 6pm, discussing how you can 'put healthy on your payroll.'

Healthy workers result in a more productive, more profitable workplace.  Healthy employees are typically out sick less often and are more productive while in the office.  A side benefit is reduced employee health benefit costs for employers.  Doesn't it make sense to invest now in a healthy workplace program, saving time, money and energy down the road?

Karl Siebert, Supervisor for Health Promotion with BlueCross & BlueShield will talk to Chamber members about creating a culture of wellness within the workplace.  He will also discuss how employers and employee human resources leaders can build a customized worksite wellness program and implement comprehensive care management through a multidimensional wellness program.

Seibert currently works as Supervisor of Health Promotion for BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, BlueShield of Northeastern New York and HealthNow New York. Prior to this, he spent eleven years as a health educator and school administrator. He received a bachelor degree in health education and a master's degree in educational computing.

This wellness education program is ideal for business leaders, Employer Groups leadership and HR professionals who are interested in BlueCross & BlueShield's comprehensive approach to population management.   For more information or to register for this exciting seminar, please call 716.632.6905 or click here.
