First Annual Young Professionals Awards Gala

Tired of attending boring, drawn-out awards dinners? Want to attend a networking-focused gala that highlights the success and accomplishments of young professionals in Western New York? Join the Emerging Business Leaders as they host their First Annual Awards Gala on Wednesday December 7, 2011!

The Awards Gala will not only highlight outstanding young professionals across the region with awards such as "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" but also organizations in WNY that recognize the importance of keeping young professionals in the area with awards such as "Best Place to Work for Young Professionals".

In order to make this event successful, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce has brought on event management company KC You There to assist in the planning & implementation of the event. Karina Lopez & Curt Rogers, the K & C of KC You There, bring in a strong background of high-end event planning and management and are the perfect addition to the event as they represent the young professional community in Western New York.

KC You There has already booked local Buffalo band "More Than Me" to be our main entertainment for the Awards Gala. This four-piece Soul and Pop Rock band is the epitome of successful young professionals to grow out of our region. After winning the Hard Rock Café's 'Battle of the Bands' last year, they had the opportunity to open for Paul McCartney in front of over 45,000 people in London, England. Since then, they have continued touring throughout the world.
