The Chamber's Annual Luncheon will feature the swearing-in of the 2012 Board of Directors by newly elected New York State Assemblyman Raymond Walter, the State of the Town Address by Supervisor Barry Weinstein and the presentation of the Chamber's 2012 Legislative Agenda by Public Affairs Council Chairman Earl Wells of e3communications.
David Flynn, Partner at Phillips Lytle LLP, will be sworn in as Chairman of the 2012 Board of Directors for his second term along with the entire 45 member board. New to the board are: Vince DeJoy, Windsong Radiology; Jeffrey Fancher, UBS Financial Services, Inc.; Jim Gottstine, Ciminelli Real Estate Corp.; Jeffrey Lehrback, McGuire Development Co.; Gretchen Nichols, Nesper, Ferber & DiGiacomo; Eric Recoon, Benderson Development; Shandra Spicer, S&W Contracting; and Amy Vigneron, Cohen & Lombardo PC.

The luncheon will be the 2012 luncheon as the platform to launch the Chamber's annual Legislative Agenda to members and elected officials. The Agenda will focus on issue areas rather than the previous format of issues by level of government. This change will allow the agenda to be easier to read and user friendly. Highlights of the agenda include: the WNY Regional Economic Development Strategic Plan, Health Insurance Exchanges and updating adaptive reuse policies.
The Amherst Chamber of Commerce's Annual Luncheon is presented by the Chamber's Public Affairs Council. Members of the Council will serve as hosts for the event and can be easily identified by their silver nametags. Individual tickets are available for $37.50 and corporate tables of eight are available for $375.
