Chamber Spotlight- Marketing & Advertising Opportunities

When new members join the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, they tell us they are most interested in marketing and advertising. In an effort to provide a variety of cost-effective opportunities for companies of all sizes, the Chamber has a variety of web opportunities for you to utilize. Below is an overview of the options available to you as a member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce:

Member-to-Member Discounts- This FREE offering encourages members to do business with each other whenever possible. How do you take advantage of this? It's easy, just fill out a discount form and send it back to Michelle McNamara and she'll take care of the rest! Visit the member-to-member discount page to get an idea of the variety of discounts or value added services our members offer.

Featured Member Discount- You might have noticed the block ad at the bottom of First Monday the past few months. This is a new initiative of the Chamber to provide cost-effective advertising opportunities for our small businesses. You can purchase anywhere from one month to a full year for $50 per month and share information on your company and have your value-added statement shared with over 1500 people!

Member Success Showcase- Each quarter, the Amherst Chamber's Business Resource Council recognizes one company or person for their dedication and hard work in the business community. Nominate your company or a client and their story will appear here.

Website Advertising- Take a look around www.amherst.org and you will see various banner and block ads from a variety of companies. Social Media- The Chamber and Emerging Business Leaders' Facebook page is the perfect place to tell our membership about your company's products and services for FREE! Head over to the Chamber's page and write on our wall. We'd love to hear from you!

Membership Directory- We strive to have up-to-date information on all of our members but we need your help. Take a look at the membership directory and make sure you are taking advantage of this great marketing tool by providing us with current information on your company representatives, address, phone number, website and business classification or industry. Need to make any changes? Email them to Michelle McNamara at mmcnamara@amherst.org.

News & Events- Does your company have an upcoming event or recent news that you would like to share with our membership? You can submit news and events on our website or send the information to Michelle and she'll put it up for you. This is a great way to keep the general community informed. The Chamber has a strong partnership with WGRZ and as a community content provider, we have the opportunity to post news on wgrz.com as well.
