Tips and Tricks for Writing a Press Release
Presented by: Tim O'Shei, managing editor of Business First
Every business can stand to gain from a positive human interest story, a feature article, television interview, event coverage or even just a spot on a community calendar. Positive publicity in the media attracts positive attention, a word of mouth buzz and brand recognition. It is the kind of invaluable, strategic business move that money can't buy. In fact, money really can't buy it. Writing a press release is free.
The only thing you need to know is how write a good press release. Journalists, bloggers, T.V. producers and web editors are media gatekeepers. They are compelled to let your story in when it's newsworthy, timely and grammatically correct, among other things. Learn firsthand what it takes to get your business' message in the limelight from Business First's very own gatekeeper, managing editor Tim O'Shei.
