On Wednesday, February 22, the Emerging Business Leaders will host its first annual awards gala to honor young professionals under the age of 39 who have demonstrated excellence through business or civic achievement in the Western New York area.  The gala, aptly coordinated by young professional event planners KC You There, welcomes profressionals of all ages to attend this elegant and unique event.

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce and Emerging Business Leaders feel it's time to bring attention to young professionals who have made a positive impact in this area despite being relatively new to the business community.  By acknowledging the potential of the area's young professionals, we can ensure they continue to thrive and remain leaders here in Western New York.

Since the gala recognizes new, up-and-coming professionals, the gala itself departs from typical corporate award-style dinners.  Attendees can expect elegant cocktails, swag bags, photo booths, music provided by KISS 98.5 DJ Tony Mamaluke and a live performance by Buffalo Battle of the Bands Winner "More Than Me."
