Tools for Prosperity Launches in 2012 with International Speaker

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that internationally known etiquette speaker John Bourdage will return to the Chamber to kick off the 2012 Tools for Prosperity Workshop series.  The workshops will continue to be held on the first Thursday of each month, beginning on January 5, 2012.  New for 2012, the workshops will be held at the Buffalo location of Roberts Wesleyan College, located at 6500 Sheridan Drive in Williamsville.

Back by popular demand from his May 2011 workshop, Bourdage will be presenting on Proper Business Networking Etiquette.  If you want to effectively tackle the daunting task of how to act and what to say during networking opportunities to maximize business relationship potential, attend this workshop.  John Bourdage can help.  After his successful turn in 2011, this workshop is expected to sell out!  Advance registration is recommended.  Click here to register today!

In February, Tools for Prosperity will bring you an informative Information Technology workshop - 'Integrating Apple Products into your Business Network' presented by EscapeWire Solutions.  This workshop will include a live demonstration on how to integrate your iPhone, iPad and other Apple products into your business.  Put this must attend event into your calendar now by clicking here to register!

This will be the third year of the workshop series with each year continuing to expand the programs we offer. The Chamber is always interested in new workshop ideas and topics to present. If you are interested in presenting or know a member who would be willing to share their expertise with our members, please contact Kim Whelan at the Chamber.  The schedule for 2012 is still being developed and finalized and submissions are welcomed and encouraged at all times.

The Tools for Prosperity series is brought to you by the Business Resource Council - the voice of small business at the Amherst Chamber of Commerce.  For more information on getting involved with the Business Resource Council or to submit a workshop proposal for Tools for Prosperity, please contact Kim at kwhelan@amherst.org or 716.632.6905.  Please join us throughout 2012 as we continue to help expand your circle of knowledge.
