Emerging Business Leaders' First Annual Awards Gala:  More than Just Sizzle

Emerging Business Leaders are upwardly mobile and mobile savvy.  They are trying to build their network, while networking socially.  Most importantly, they are growing to lead, so they can lead the growth in the Western New York economy.  The Amherst Chamber of Commerce wants to recognize these dynamic young professionals at the first of its kind awards gala.

On February 22, 2012, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Business Leaders will host its first annual Awards Gala to honor young professionals from throughout the region who have demonstrated excellence through business or civic achievement in the Western New York area.  This awards gala will be the first in our region to solely recognize the accomplishments and contributions of young professionals in our community, as well as the companies and organizations who support them.

It's time to bring attention to the young professionals living in the Western New York community.  As our workforce continues to age, the Buffalo Niagara Region will become increasingly reliant on a new crop of leaders.  The 2012 Awards Gala will be an apt way to show young professionals that Western New York, and especially the Chamber, not only values but counts on their potential to lead us into the future.

Ballots close on January 20th, 2012
