The Emerging Business Leaders' Advisory Board Seeks New Candidates 

Are you a young professional interested in gaining access to some of the region's most influential community leaders, forging connections with your peers in the business community and getting results by learning skills that will contribute to your professional success?  Would you like to help lead the charge with the Amherst Chamber of Commerce to develop programs for the millennial generation?

The Emerging Business Leaders, a group for young professionals within the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, will be adding to their roster of dynamic Advisory Board members in 2012.  Nominations are currently being accepted for young professionals interested in serving on an Advisory Board for the newest council at the Chamber.

The EBL is looking for professional representatives, employed by firms who are members of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce from a variety of industries.  Each member will serve a two year term and be required to attend seven out of ten advisory board meetings throughout the year. Applicants will also be expected to support, through personal attendance or encouraging friends and colleagues to attend, 50% of all Emerging Business Leaders sponsored events.

Members of the Emerging Business Leaders get a return on their membership that pays dividends in personal advancement.  Through skill development, community outreach and networking, group members build the competencies and connections necessary to stay in this area and thrive.  Now is your chance to help lead this group of upwardly mobile and mobile savvy young professionals.
