The Amherst Chamber of Commerce staff consistently interfaces with our members in an effort to understand and respond to their feedback as it relates to programs and services they need. Marketing assistance continues to be at the top of the list. Firms of all sizes are searching for opportunities to showcase their product or service to a larger audience in a cost effective manner. In response, we have created sponsorship opportunities that will fit any budget. Sponsoring a Chamber event provides our members with broad market penetration while partnering with the leading business organization in the region. Additionally, national research concluded that the American public is 76% more likely to do business with a member of a Chamber of Commerce. A sponsorship of one of our events brands your firm as a Chamber member - an added value.
The Chamber hosts three signature events each year - the Annual Luncheon, the Small Business Awards Luncheon and the Business of the Year Awards Dinner. In 2011 we will be adding a fourth event - a career fair scheduled to be held in February. Each event has multiple levels of sponsorship commitments from as low as $750 for a table at our events to $5,000 a year to serve as the title sponsor for the career fair.
The Annual Luncheon features the installation of our Officers and Board of Directors, the State of the Town Address by the Amherst Town Supervisor, the award presentation to the Volunteer of the Year and the unveiling of the Annual Legislative Agenda. This luncheon is presented by the Public Affairs Council and is held at the end of January each year. The Small Business Awards Luncheon is held each May and honors the regions small businesses who demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to the Western New York community. The Chamber's Business of the Year Awards Dinner is our largest event and attended by over 400 business and community leaders each fall. This annual dinner celebrates the success of businesses throughout the region.
In addition to our event sponsorships, we also offer advertising opportunities for all of our electronic communications. Our First Monday and Healthcare Corner e-newsletters are sent monthly and viewed by over 1,800 of our members. First Monday features the latest news from the Chamber each month. The Healthcare Corner is sent monthly to our health insurance subscribers and features important information from our Insurance Benefits Manager Christian Solecki. Banner and block ads are available for both publications as well as the Chamber's website, www.amherst.org. These ads can be customized to meet your specific marketing needs and financial capabilities.
We have also created distinctive sponsorship programs for four of our exclusive programs. They are available for two of our committees - the Business Resource Council and our newest program, the Emerging Business Leaders. These programs are supported on a yearly basis, beginning in January and ending the following December. Opportunities are also available for our New Members and our annual Legislative Agenda.
