Overview
This workshop involves participants in discussing the importance of leaders getting to the heart of the problem and finding solutions. A framework will be shared that (a) gives strategies to close the gap between the organization's current state and its vision for achievement, (b) focuses on measuring critical activities that drive financial success, and (c) aligns individual performance to organizational priorities. Scenes from the movie Invictus, will be analyzed for their relevance to business performance management.

Joan has 8 years experience in sales management. As a rookie sales manager in the ladies clothing industry, her innovative sales activities achieved a 30% increase in profit over the previous year. She later lead the business to expand to a second location.
As a Restaurant Manager for McDonald's, her team enjoyed meeting consecutive peak time sales targets of $1,000 per hour.
Joan is a certified Balanced Scorecard Strategy practitioner and holds a doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Development. She currently works as a Performance Management Consultant delivering leadership workshops focused on linking leadership to organizational results.
She has worked internationally in England, Canada and The Bahamas and is enjoying living here in Western New York.

Dr. Bradley's
career has centered around managing performance, improving processes, and
finding creative solutions to problems in both the private and not-for-profit
sectors. During her 18 years as a private school educator, her work as Principal
and Director focused on developing innovative programs that inspired excellence
in teaching and learning. Her division consistently surpassed enrollment and
revenue targets.
