Senator Charles Schumer Addresses WNY Business Community

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Cheektowaga, Clarence, Kenmore-Tonawanda and Lancaster Area Chambers proudly welcomed United States Senator Charles Schumer to lunch at Samuel’s Grande Manor on Monday, May 11, 2010. Senator Schumer spent the afternoon speaking to over 250 luncheon guests from all over Western New York about topics that included our national and local economies-providing suggestions for ways our community can work together-to create a successful future. Showing his support for local initiatives, Senator Schumer spoke on a number of local topics, that included the University at Buffalo’s UB 2020 Initiative. At the end of his address, Senator Schumer took questions from luncheon guests that included topics such as green energy, education and business.
