ADDING VALUE TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP INVESTMENT

Included in the cost of your membership is a ticket to the Legislative Reception being held Thursday, May 28^th at Sheridan Meadows North from 5 – 7:30 p.m.  Thanks to the generosity of Uniland Development and the Investment from National Grid, we are, once again, able to offer this as a complimentary event for our members.  It is a great opportunity for you to network with other business and community leaders and to meet your elected representatives.  The Community Affairs Council will also be distributing our 2009 Legislative Agenda.  Great food and beverages from Lebro’s will be served.

The Amherst Chamber is very conscious of the financial challenges our members are encountering.  Discretionary income is hard to come by and would preclude many of our members from attending this important and valuable event if, like most organizations, it came with a price tag of $30-$50.  In addition to this great event, the Amherst Chamber facilitates networking meetings and monthly Business After Hours – included in the cost of your membership investment.  The Chamber staff is currently tallying up the ‘free’ Chamber member offerings to help illustrate that member investments are good investments with a tangible return.  For more information on the Legislative Reception or the dozens of Chamber benefits go online at www.Amherst.org or call Loretta Kaminsky at the Chamber office, 632-6905.
