Lifetime Achievement Award Highlights 2010 BOY

It is once again time to start thinking about the Amherst Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business of the Year Dinner.  Honorees for this year have not been chosen yet, however, the Chamber is proud to announce a new award that will be given out annually beginning this year.

On Tuesday, October 21, 2010, the Chamber will be awarding a Lifetime Achievement Award to a member of the community.  This award will be in addition to the eight yearly awards presented, including the Business of the Year Award presented by M&T Bank.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to an individual who has spent their life promoting the economic vitality of not only the Amherst community, but the surrounding Western New York region with integrity and passion.  The honored individual’s work will have made a lasting impact for generations to come.
